The Islamic insurance and reinsurance course is based on introducing participants to the concept of insurance in general and Islamic insurance in particular. This course is designed to enrich participants ’knowledge and distinction between Islamic and commercial insurance and to understand the fundamental and formal differences between them as the origin and development of Islamic insurance will be discussed, its legitimacy and its characteristics. This course also aims to provide the participants with full knowledge of the reinsurance system and the emergence of an idea in addition to knowing its importance, its image and controls for establishing an Islamic reinsurance system, in addition to identifying the obstacles that hinder this system and the proposed solutions to overcome these obstacles.
