Course Overview

The Certified Encryption Specialist (ECES) course is designed for professionals as well as students in the field of cryptography. Participants will learn the basics and cryptographic keys. The course aims to provide participants with experience in the details of algorithms such as Feistel, DES and AES. The course includes an overview of other algorithms such as Blowfish, Twofish, Skipjack, hashing algorithms including MD5, MD6, SHA, Gost, RIPMD 256, etc. Asymmetric encryption includes a comprehensive description of RSA, Elgamal, Elliptic Curve, and DSA. And significant concepts such as diffusion, confusion, and Kerkchoff’s principle. Participants will also be provided a practical application such as how to set up a VPN, Encrypt a drive, Hands-on experience with steganography, Hands on experience in cryptographic algorithms ranging from classic ciphers like Caesar cipher to modern day algorithms such as AES and RSA."
